After 18 years of adventures we are now offering for sale our Oyster 45 , Serena . She is a classic in every sense. A timeless design , built in Norfolk and designed for comfort , sailing performance, safety , ease of handling and offshore capability. We've meticulously maintained her over this period and more recently, since 2020 , have refitted her with the following:- A new Volvo Penta D2-75 engine and Morse stainless steel throttle plate and control gear. Increasing her power to 75hp. New Saildrive fitted with a 'matched' Brunton varifold propellor. New Vetus 95D Bowthruster . New Flexiteek decking . The original cockpit teak has been retained and we have also capped the toe rail in teak . Replaced standing rigging , top spars and fitted a new Banmar BTM 10 backstay adjuster and replaced various halyards. New Mainsail (2022) SKB Sails Falmouth Serviced and rebuilt both Harken primary electric cockpit winches and stripped and serviced the remainder. Serviced and replaced the inmast furling mechanism. A full inventory is available on request . Serena is now ready to go on new adventures.She is berthed at Mylor Yacht Harbour , Cornwall where she is available for viewing .

“MOONDANCE” is a centre cockpit cutter, with lifting keel, highly specified for extended bluewater sailing and has been well maintained by her knowledgeable owners. This Southerly 135 is the 3 cabin version with an airy and light raised deck saloon, a spacious aft cabin, a bunk cabin midships and a double cabin forward. Extensively equipped with furling main, Eberspacher heating, self-steering windvane, hydro-generator, solar panel, stern arch, watermaker, to name a few. She had a refit done in 2016 including refurbishing the swing keel at Northshore Yachts, new sails, new standing rigging, new radar and chart plotter. New tender and outboard in 2020, windlass and anchor chain in 2021. Swing keel and steering system maintenance at Northshore in 2024. Several essential spare parts are also included. Owners CommentsWe chose Moondance when buying a boat because - she is a solid go anywhere boat- the lifting keel allows access to shallow areas- the safety of a centre cockpit- the possibility of handling all maneuvers single handed from the cockpit- the side galley is safe and convenient in big seas- the raised saloon gives an all round view from inside and brings in a lot of light Moondance is spacious, homely and cosy and in the many anchorages we have been in we have had views to die for from the comfort of the saloon.
