The Cape Dory 300 Motorsailer is a rugged, pilothouse-style cruising vessel designed by Clive M. Dent and built between 1985 and 1990. Key data includes a 30-foot length overall, 11'5" beam, a long keel with a 4-foot draft, and a total displacement of 11,500 lbs. Powered by a 46 hp Westerbeke diesel engine, it features a full-size sailplan, a 40-gallon freshwater tank, and a 40-gallon fuel tank, with only 47 units produced.
