Detailed Description

Vagrant Gypsy is a Dickerson 37 center cockpit ketch. Built in 1983 she has classic lines with  pretty sheer and overhangs.  All around the deck is cleanly designed with a very modern  underbody. Vagrant Gypsy is well maintained and in good condition; she boasts beautiful but limited brightwork topsides and stained teak below with teak and holly sole throughout. Vagrant Gypsy is easily sailed, she balances nicely with an almost neutral helm. When the wind gusts, there is no excessive heeling, only a push forward. VG has a 4'6" shoal draft, a skeg rudder and a sail area/displacement ratio of 2.73. 

Sails:

Vagrant Gypsy is a beautiful eye-catching ketch with tanbark (red) sails. A roller furling jib, main and mizzen.  A130% genoa, an asymmetrical spinnaker and a storm trysail.

Accommodations

This vessel has a v-berth forward cabin, an overhead hatch and two opening ports. Lockers are aft to port, with drawers and cupboard to starboard with the main salon just aft.

The main salon has port and starboard settees with a dining table mounted on the forward starboard bulkhead. The starboard settee converts to a double berth. The salon has two opening ports on each side and an overhead hatch in the center. 

Aft to port is the galley with a stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressure water, a Mariner Regal by Dickinson LPG 3 burner stove with oven and broiler, dry storage locker, 

Across to starboard is the head, vanity with sink, shower plus storage for toiletries.

The head includes a wet locker.

Aft to port is access to the aft cabin which has a double berth.

There is ventilation throughout the interior with twelve opening ports and two hatches.
