RARE Seaward Eagle 32 with shallow draft wing keel (3’ 6”) (no mechanical keel issues to go wrong). The Seaward 32 is designed for those who appreciate quality craftsmanship and a classic sailing experience. “FREEDOM” is located at the top to the Chesapeake Bay, on the hard and winterized until Spring but available for inspection. In excellent condition with numerous costly improvements, including all new interior Sunbrella covered cushions and exterior canvas, new electrical panel/wiring and refrigeration. Roomy inside for its size with a separate shower in the head. Transom folds down as a swim platform and has a washdown/shower in cockpit. All hardware is top notch from the stainless port lights with screens, to Pro-Furl genoa roller furling, to new “StackPack” style fully battened mainsail cover. The Spinnaker with new ATN sock makes light air sailing even more enjoyable. With only 3’6” draft “Freedom is the perfect vessel for sailing the Chesapeake Bay, Barnegat Bay or Coastal Florida. Compass Rose is a light displacement sailing cruiser that was designed to be comfortable, nimble, and not shy about shoal waters. She is very responsive on any point of sail and also motors in a very tight turning radius. The redundancy of twin 80 hp Yanmars with ample sail configurations can provide enhanced speed and maneuverability in most conditions. All lines lead back to cockpit and there are robust padeyes for harnessing in. Lg interior volume will not give you the typical sailboat feel. Well appointed storage areas throughout with hanging lockers as well. Traveler is mounted to Lg SS arch so no boom interaction can occur in the cockpit. For convenience, the Mack stack pack is used for quick dousing of main. Ground tackle consists of 60 lb Delta on 150 ft chain-250 ft nylon rode with a secondary 40 lb Fortress on 25 ft chain-200 ft nylon rode. Very distictive/classic design and guaranteed to turn heads.
