2006 Monterey 234 FS Open Bow for sale. Well maintained and low hours. Ideal for wakeboarding, skiing, and tubing or running around fun with the family. Large Bimini top to provide shade on hot days, with additional front and side skirts that snap on for rainy days. Lenco trim tabs added for a smoother ride, and Garmin GPS and Charts included. AM/FM/CD player with great speakers, roomy seating, ample storage for all your water toys and a large swim platform. 40 hours on boat when purchased in 2015. 97 total hours to date. Boat maintained by certified technician. Stored in heated garage in winters. Engine replaced around 2018. Upgraded to a marine gm 350 (5.7l), 320 HP, EFI engine. Stern drive rebuilt at same time. ~ 50 hours since engine replacement. Electronic fuel injection and low fuel consumption. Never run in salt water. Only fresh water usage. 2024 load rite roller trailer with power winch. Stainless steel prop. Video taken on last time in water during Labor Day weekend. Why am I selling this beauty you may ask?We purchased our 6th boat at the beginning of last season after going a year without one and we just dont use it enough to justify owning it. We are getting up there in age and since our grandsons arrival he takes priority over boating. It looks beautiful in my driveway but makes for very expensive lawn art. :( This boat is exceptionally clean with less than a year old Ceramic Coating inside and out. It is fully loaded less windlass anchor and head. The 300HP upgrade really sets it apart from the rest, time to plane and top end are remarkable. Simrad touch screen with Mercury VesselView Link puts all the info the captain needs at your fingertips. The JL Audio system is exceptional and the power tower is very convenient when storing in covered parking. When buying a used boat I always ask the seller what the 3 biggest issues are so I'll list them here in order of my priority:1 - The ignition switch is wired wrong in that the only thing the key does is start the engine meaning so long as the battery switch is on the accessories are pulling power. I learned this the hard way by killing the batteries in my driveway. Thankfully I was able to charge them with the onboard charger and get out on the water but worry not as I have since replaced them with brand new maintenance free ones.2- The trim gauge works intermittently which I suspect is the sender unit on the engine but I havent taken the time to troubleshoot it, could just be loose wiring at the helm.3 - The port side docking light also works intermittently which I have troubleshot and all but concluded it is the wiring at the helm but again, I haven't taken the dash apart. Happy to send any additional photos upon request as my listing only allows a dozen.Price to include 2022 Magic Tilt trailer and is quite firm because I know what I have and there isnt a lien.
