    Hyfrydol is a lovely, stout, well-sailing pocket cruiser. Current owner has upgraded, repaired and maintained this boat for the past 6 years. It is a beloved family boat and receives plenty of compliments.  We purchased this boat in the spring of 2019. It was built in Rhode Island and quickly moved to a fresh water home on Lake Michigan where it stayed until we took ownership. Surveys welcome at buyer’s expense.     Well maintained and updated 1980 CE Ryder Sea Sprite 27/28, designed by Bill Luders. LOA 27.9’, LWL 20’, Beam 8.8’, Depth 6.8’, Draft 4.25’, Disp. 8,000 lbs. Fiberglass hull with varnished teak toe rails, coaming boards, handrails, and companion way drop boards. Full keel, tiller steered. Perfect for day sailing or cruising. Sleeps 3-4 in cabin below (1 adult or 2 children in V berth and 2 adults in quarter berths), and/or 2 adults or children on cushioned benches in fully enclosed cockpit under custom made canvas tent with mosquito netting that easily zips into dodger and hangs from boom. New cushions in 2010 for V berth, quarter berth and cockpit benches. Fractional rig, single-spreader, aluminum mast, with new rigging and lifelines in 2003. New twist lock whisker pole for genoa and boat hook in 2012. Two Lewmar 16A jib winches in cockpit and 2 Lewmar 8A winches for main and jib halyards on aft section of cabin top all serviced in 2017. New in 2012 loose footed mainsail with battens and sail bag and 150% roller furling genoa with Sunbrella acrylic UV cover, and sail bag. Cleaned, serviced and stored professionally each season. New blue main sail cover, dodger and custom-made tent canopy for cockpit in 2013. 2006 Beta Marine 2 cylinder, 13.5 HP BZ482EPA regularly winterized and maintained with new (within last 4 years) fuel tank, fuel pump, hoses, fuel filter assembly and exhaust elbow. Most electrical wiring replaced in 2017 with installation of new DC electrical panel, and new LED lights in cabin and USB ports in cockpit and cabin. Two 2014 Interstate deep cycle marine batteries. 2009 Garmin 440S pivots into gangway from cabin, and 2017 Garmin wind, speed and dept indicators and compass installed on companionway bulkheads and mast-mounted windvane. Navco autohelm Tillerpilot 1600 and Horizon Intrepid GX1260S marine transceiver. Rebuilt in 2017 galley counters with new sink and Formica, main salon shelves, and floor with access doors to 80-gallon water holding tank and depth transducer. Galley has two-burner denatured alcohol stove, with overlaying cutting board. Head is a Dometic Sealand 9600 series portable toilet. Electric bilge pump replaced in 2017. Manual Guzzler 2600 hand syphon bilge pump backup. Boat comes with new fenders, and nice assortment of bow and stern dock and spring lines. New in 2013 anchor rode attached to plow anchor pulled with manual Ursus windlass mounted of foredeck. Spare Danforth anchor and rode.
