Other Details This 1982 Marshall-built Californian 34 LRC is a long-range cruiser with the heart of a classic trawler and the versatility of a modern liveaboard. She’s powered by twin Caterpillar 3208 diesel engines (3500 hours), paired with two brand new 150-gallon aluminum fuel tanks, offering reliability and range rarely found in this size class.
The vessel has undergone extensive cosmetic and mechanical restoration in recent years — including a complete professional teak refinish (200–300 hours of labor), new anti-skid deck coating, new bimini top, and four new D8 batteries. All major systems have been serviced or replaced in 2025, including regulators, belts, impellers, fuel filters, Heat exchangers and oil changes on both mains and the Northern Lights generator, all with supporting invoices and engine oil/transmission oil analysis reports from Blackbeard Marine Engineering and Dependable Marine.
A transferable slip at Marina Cortez (San Diego) — one of the most desirable marinas in Southern California — is available upon approval. Accommodations As you step aboard from the swim platform, you’ll notice a fiberglassed-in bait tank at the transom, complemented by multiple rod holders and a freshly installed anchor system for fishing or anchoring off Catalina. Entering through the salon’s double doors, the warm teak interior opens up to a welcoming living space with a 42-inch Smart TV, electric fireplace in the stateroom, and L-shaped convertible dinette that folds down into a full-size berth. The galley and salon flow seamlessly, making it ideal for entertaining or long stays aboard. The private forward stateroom offers generous storage, hanging lockers, and natural light. The Galley and head were fully refitted in 2014, including an upgraded freshwater system. The salon and galley feature teak cabinetry throughout, complemented by durable, easy-care flooring.
