The Cal 36 designed by Bill Lapsworth is a true classic known for its solid construction, good performance, and comfortable interior. It features a solid fiberglass hull with a fin keel and a skeg-mounted rudder. She is balanced and responsive in all wind conditions. She has a moderate displacement-to-length ratio of 253 similar to the stability and performance of a light cruiser or offshore racer. Tranquillo has a rebuilt Westerbeke 33hp diesel engine, all new Raymarine electronics, external roller furling Mainsail and Genoa. She has been constantly upgraded and maintained to a very high level.
