For those who enjoy cruising and socializing on a grand scale, whether for day trips or for extended journeys, the Cruisers 4280 Express Bridge is loaded with features not often found in a midsize cruising yacht. The 4280 is a maxi-volume entertainment platform with all the comforts of a home on the water. Her full-body profile and high-freeboard give her a unique profile that makes her stand out on the water and in the marina. There’s seating for a small crowd on the massive flybridge, the social focus of the boat, along with two lounge pads forward on the bow. Wide molded steps on both sides of the cockpit ascend to the flybridge as well as leading directly out to the foredeck, easing exterior mobility as well as docking and launching. Her two-stateroom, single-level interior – completely updated and modernized – features an expansive, full-beam salon with an open galley and built-in serving counter… perfect for entertaining and providing all the comforts of home on extended cruises. The modified-V hull of the 4280 is fully cored and includes prop pockets for reduced draft and shaft angles. The 375hp turbo Cats allow her to slow cruise while enjoying the day or to get up on plane for a top speed of around 24 knots.
Condition
This spacious flybridge is in good condition with minor split seams in bench seating behind the helm. Below deck there are zero smells of mildew, mold or head treatment. The exterior, cabin and systems have been well-maintained and kept clean. It was primarily used for infrequent day trips on Lake Huron by the original owner until 2017, and then by her second owner until 2018. But her current owner has cruised comfortably on her for over 10,000 miles since 2019, including completing America’s Great Loop. Required periodic maintenance has been performed regularly on all systems IAW manual-recommended schedules (detailed maintenance records maintained and available).
