SY Carolina has been constantly maintained and improved over the last 30 years, including new teak decks (approx 15 years ago, with new caulking 4 years ago), painted hull, and coppercoat 2020. The vessel was originally built for the shipyard owner of IDSEA in Italy, then sold to her current owner who changed the layout from a charter cabin layout to a welcoming owner's layout with a large main salon.

The owner, passionate about his beloved SY Carolina, has prepared her for her next adventure, including a two-week yard period in 2020 with new Coppercoat on the hull (to last 10 years), painted hull, and new seacocks and re-bedding some stanchions.  Everything stays on board, the new owners only need to throw off the lines and go cruising!
