'Tarka' – A cruiser stern Sea Otter 31' Narrowboat maintained in lovely condition.
This 31' Sea Otter aluminium Narrowboat is designed in a reverse layout and features; a galley positioned to port with a single dinette opposite, which converts into one single or bunk beds. The toilet compartment is just before the dinette seating area, following through to the saloon features port and starboard three seater settees which can be converted to form a full width double berth when required.
Powered by a Nanni 21hp diesel engine this Narrowboat offers economical cruising. Central heating is provided by an air blown Trumatic system with air ducts throughout the cabin. Hot water is supplied by the engine calorifier. 240V & 12V electrics on board. Full engine service carried out in November 2018 & BSS valid to March 2021.
This compact Sea Otter is built with comfort in mind and is suitable for river and canal cruising. She offers comfortable accommodation for up to four. 'Tarka' is also trailer-able with the right vehicle.

'Tarka's interior is constructed of Ash marine ply and hardwood trims giving a light an airy feel.
This Sea Otter has a modern and tasteful colour palette; the dinette / saloon cushions are furnished in mid-blue material and the curtains are made from a heavy weight patterned cream cloth. The galley window features a blind.
She has been designed in an efficient and resourceful way that provides a good amount of storage and comfortable living quarters for those weekends away, exploring and cruising the beautiful inland waterways.
Built with a cruiser stern specification with curved bench seats at the helms position.

HEAD / BATHROOM
The wet room style bathroom contains a cassette toilet, shower, vanity basin unit and mirror.
Positioned to starboard features a single dinette area for two with forward and aft facing seats. This can also be converted to form a single bed or a bunk accommodating for two extra berths.
The saloon consists of three seater settees located to port and starboard which can be converted to form a king-size berth.
HEATING / HOT WATER SYSTEM
A Trumatic air blown central heating system is supplied on board with air ducts throughout cabin; providing plenty of heat in the cabin, perfect for all year round cruising. The calorifier is connected to the engine circuit providing heat for hot water when running.
The 240V system on board simply plugs in to the shoreline providing power to the sockets throughout the boat. When cruising, a inverter/charger ensures you are never without power.
