1985 Bertram 54 convertible twin Detroit Diesel legendary ride
Bertram 54, one of the most popular convertibles in her size that has ever been built and one of the versatile blue water battle wagons ever designed to fish the rip. Powered by twin Detroit 900hp 12V71 diesel's and cruises at 24-25 knots to get to the next spot.
Only a few boats compared with the Bertram 54 when it came to open-water handling and heavy weather performance. Built on a solid fiberglass deep-V hull she features three staterooms and twin generators for loads of comforts.
Through the years, she has been constantly upgraded, and valuable custom improvements to the original design have been made and installed as new including Simrad screens and radar, Sirius fish mapping unit, bow thruster, teak on the bridge, and cockpit teak trim around the bridge.
The interior has been completely remodeled. New teak flooring, upholstery, Miele convection/microwave, oven and induction stove top and Liebherr refrigerator. All new master cabinet maker from Riva Boats with new cabinets and drawers, window treatments, Quartz counter tops and table, 6 smart tv's, SAT HD TV with local HD TV antenna, custom made couch with storage and remote control shades in the salon.
