Descrizione
Knowledgeable purchasers will appreciate this aluminum boat’s superior rot-free construction. You only need to search YouTube “soft decks” to find out why aluminum is a preferred construction material for boats. She was custom built by professionals (Marlin Yachts) in Gananoque in 1974.
The current owners purchased the boat in 2016 and have enjoyed cruising the Thousand Islands region. The boat offers a comfortable open concept layout and lots of seating to spend time with family and friends. The owners particularly appreciate the ease of movement to/from the fly bridge with no steep steps and the peacefulness of anchoring out with the 88 lb Vulcan anchor and 200’ of G4 chain holding them in place.
She will cruise around 8.5 mph burning about 1.5 gallons per hour of diesel at 1,700 rpm. The Perkins 105 hp 6.354 engine has 2,400 hours on it.
The electric winch facilitates the midship deck storage of a dinghy and double kayak atop a very large storage box. The owners refer to this deck as the “Yoga Deck” due to its open space used for morning exercises.
The flybridge boasts storage under all the seats. There is a daybed to port plus a two-seater bench and a 9’ bench to starboard. The upper helm provides excellent visibility for cruising and docking. The aluminum hardtop supports 600 watts of solar panels with plenty of room for more.
Inside, the aft master stateroom boasts a queen-sized bed with cedar-lined hanging closet and ensuite head with an electric toilet.
The salon has a twin daybed to port. Opposite is an L-shaped settee that converts to a 44” berth. There is full storage under both. Ahead and across from the inside helm is the galley with ample storage, a stainless steel sink, filtered water, Force 10 3-burner propane stove (2018), microwave, Nova Kool 7.4 cu ft fridge/freezer (2018) and imported Krion countertops (2020). In the bow, there are bunk beds, more storage and the manual second toilet.
