Descrizione
During the past 22 years, much of the Schooner FLEURTJE (ex-ARGONAFTIS) has been overhauled, modernised, rebuilt, redecorated, refitted or replaced during 4 major refits and several other maintenance periods. The vessel has always been kept in Lloyds class.

She has been a strictly private yacht during this time, having never chartered.

Her present owner increased the number of guest cabins to 6 in 1985 and, more recently, each cabin has been refurbished and all gold plated fittings. In addition to many technical aspects of the refits, we are informed that the decks were replaced, the hull was completely refaired and repainted, sound proof insulation was installed in the engine room and throughout the guest accommodation.

Gerald Dijkstra conducted full inclination tests and re-distributed much of the 100 tons of ballast to further improve Fleurtjes sailing performance.

FLEURTJE is a unique 3 masted schooner and is, the only one of her type and in her condition available for sale worldwide.

ACCOMMODATION
UPPER DECK/MAIN DECK

The long foredeck with rebuilt anchor windlass, decks, re-conditioned winches and capstans also provides ample working space for the crew. There is a sail bin next to the foremast.

The Captains double cabin in the forward coach house is forward of the wheelhouse (with its open bridge wings) and the radio office/study.

The aft coach house has the main galley (full width) with doors either side onto the side decks. The athwartships passageway just aft of the galley provides access to the main saloon, owner and guest accommodation and port and starboard side decks. A day head is to port.

The main saloon is further aft with dining table forward and informal seating area aft. Above the saloon is the boat deck. The aft deck consists of an emergency steering position, bench seating and access to the lazarette/steering compartment. This area can be covered by an awning.

LOWER DECK

The spacious and comfortable crew quarters are forward with a crew mess and separate galley. Beneath the crew mess sole is the laundry room with fridge/freezers, laundry machines, bow thruster and air conditioning plant.

The guest accommodation occupies the amidships section of the yacht below the main mast with 6 cabins each with ensuite facilities. Beneath the guest passageway is the gyro compartment and wine store.

The engine room with full headroom is both spacious and well laid out with new sound shields to the generators, insulation, switchboard and stainless steel pipework. Leading aft from the engine room is the lazarette and steering compartment with storage for spare parts and access up to the aft deck
