Descrizione

This 2013 Azimut 53 Fly is a yacht is that is usually measured in feet, but the length of the hull does not give you any idea of the space onboard this 53 Flybridge. Unique in its category, This has a master suite that is full height as well as full beam where the yacht owner can experience the heart of the Azimut 53 Flybridge Yacht to its full potential.

The main deck is not only long but wide, high and luminous, designed as one large space divided into functional areas with a living area with an elegant cabinet along the starboard side full of compartments, drawers and spaces that are essential for comfortable onboard living and a U shaped sofa to form a highly elegant and prestigious area for relaxation and conversation.

There is no doubt that a great yacht must have a great flybridge. Azimut 53 Flybridge Yacht has such a wide flybridge that there is room for two sun bathing areas that are linked but independent of each other, one towards the stern and the other towards the bow.

Like all great motor yachts, the size of the project can also be seen in the minutest details. Take for example the hand rails that guarantee safety in all areas, the openable portholes in the cabins, the gangway placed sideways so that it does not interfere with the cockpit settee and In short, it can be seen in everything that the Azimut Yachts designers have conceived and the Azimut 53 maximizes in every area.

HULL DETAILS

The structural design of the keel has been RINA approved. This

implies a further guarantee of the structure’s quality; This is also

guaranteed by the use of state-of-the-art techniques and the

materials used. Construction materials and techniques have been

the subject of research aimed at optimising the balance between

quality, weight and stiffness. Hull, deck, trays and structures

are made of sandwich panel with PVC high performance core

in order to achieve maximum rigidity and impact resistance.

An infusion lamination system has been adopted for these

parts, a technique that reduces weight while improving the

control and quality of the construction. VINYLESTER RESIN is

used for the lamination of the entire hull. This type of resin

is extremely effective in preventing osmosis because of its

chemical and mechanical properties. Therefore, Azimut is able

to provide a 5-year warranty against osmosis. Isophthalic resin

of recognized quality is used throughout the remainder of

the lamination process. The structural bulkheads are made of

sandwich with PVC core. The design concepts are at the cutting

edge making the most of the performance offered by new

materials and techniques: for example, transforming the interior

flooring (trays) into a structural element, part of the traditional

structure comprised of floor plates and longitudinal members

has been eliminated, thereby among others increasing the

volume available for the furniture, without sacrificing strength

and rigidity and reducing weight. One of the key elements of

this transformation was the use of next generation structural

adhesives. The glueing technique and structural concepts that

derived have been verified with a finished element analysis

model. This calculation system, usually used in the aeronautical

and automotive industries, simulates the behaviour of the boat

when it is subjected to the most severe conditions and verifies

the structure in every detail. The uprights of the superstructure

have been reinforced with carbon fibre to increase stiffness and

reduce weight. The planing of the keel has a deadrise angle of

12° astern and 21° midships.
